Concierge Services Flash : New Rock on the Block

Conciant Lifestyle Concierge, a private concierge services company has news for bling fans. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds; they just don't take a million years to create. When this tidbit was discovered, Conciant's intrepid concierge services lifestyle concierge research team set about to confirm or debunk the report. Here's what the research revealed.

Lab diamonds are grown in just a few days. How? The process is technical for this writer-but in brief, take a sliver of a mined diamond called a seed, and accelerate a process that takes nature.millions of years. Pressure, graphite, molten iron or cobalt bombarded by carbon ions.well it's a very technical process-but apparently they are genuine diamonds. Concierge services lead concierge promptly directed research staff to assemble all the pertinent facts on the phenomenon. Director of concierges services , Anne Barrett, was stunned to learn that even the Gemological Institute of America, the foremost diamond research and grading body, acknowledges the legitimacy of the stones, "To say it's not a diamond is [sic] false," says William Boyajian, gemologist and GIA president." David Hellier of Gemisis agrees, "After about four and a half days, we get a three-carat rough diamond. From that day forward, there's no difference between that diamond and one that comes from the ground." When the report was shared with concierge services female staff they sat up; all ears, eager to embrace the concept of more affordable bling; male concierges responded as well, albeit with more subtlety, and a different agenda. The report is available through concierge services (your personal concierge), or the virtual concierge on the website. Anyway, the process has been refined. Lab diamonds are distinguished from mined diamonds by one thing; lab diamonds are flawless.there is one other consideration-lab diamonds are around half the cost of mined diamonds.

So what? You're no doubt thinking. Mined diamonds will retain their market share- sure they will . As of this writing, Conciant Lifestyle concierge services believes that's an open question. Until recently, creating colorless lab diamonds large enough to cut was impossible-DeBeers is already leading the charge to develop methodology to distinguish between the two-but jewelers are worried. Mined diamonds are a multi billion dollar industry. Conciant quotes Mr. Amoroso, owner of a retail and design shop in Boston 's Jewelers Exchange, "It's scary, I knew it could be done, but I just hadn't seen one yet." Mr. Amoroso examined three stones; two mined-one grown, and pronounced the lab diamond "best of the three," noting the absence of flaws.

Gives a girl pause. Conciant Lifestyle Concierge Services can't but wonder; will Mr. Wonderful pay 50,000 for a mined stone, or 25,000 for the lab diamond? Discriminating members will want to know. To date the GIA isn't certifying lab diamonds for the four C's-cut, clarity, carat, and color, but it's just a matter of time. Conciant Lifestyle Concierge services believes this bears watching; the ramifications could be far reaching. Oh, sidebar -there are labs using human ashes to create lab diamonds, and that's just morbid. Conciant Lifestyle Concierge services recommends due diligence here. caveat emptor (buyer beware).
